Hello and welcome to Endrick Holistics !
My name is Frederique and I am passionate about helping people take back control over their health and wellbeing. I am a firm believer that holistic complementary therapies play an integral role in our mental and physical health and wellbeing due to my personal experience. They have supported me and helped me in my recovery and management of Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Irritable Bowel Syndrome since 2009 and more recently the transitional phase that is menopause with its mighty impact on everyday life. My own recovery journey prompted me to retrain as a complementary therapist to support others on their pathway to optimal wellbeing.
Holistic therapies offer a 'whole person' care approach and a natural, soothing, gentle yet powerful way to work alongside conventional medicine to support anyone looking to maintain a balanced approach to their health and wellness. This can be in a preventative or curative manner, to help reduce the impact of symptoms on daily activities and daily life.
Using various modalities such as Reflexology, Reiki, HEARTS process or Indian Head Massage, my goal is to stimulate the self-healing process of the body and support my clients with bespoke insights, strategies and tools specifically tailored to their needs to help feel better within themselves and empower them to move forward on their wellbeing journey. I love helping them to reach their individual goals, to help them manage setbacks, to reduce the impact their symptoms may have on their lives and to make progress as they navigate their path towards recovery. Receiving complementary therapy treatments is a self-care practice, a way for my clients to keep their stress levels under control or to help them deal with physical or emotional needs already present.
The cumulative effect of these gentle therapies (used as individual treatments or combined together for optimal benefits) are beneficial with stress, anxiety, depression, grief, pain, insomnia, hormonal imbalances, pre and post surgery, lymphoedema, autoimmune conditions, migraines to only name a few.
All the therapies are non-invasive, drug and chemical free (making them suitable for all ages) and are experienced fully dressed.
I am qualified with the highest level of Clinical Reflexology training (credit rated by Edinburgh Napier University) and I continuously broaden my knowledge and expertise through Continuous Professional Development accredited by the Association of Reflexologists (of which I am a fully insured member-MAR).
Due to personal family circumstances, I have chosen to extend my area of expertise to cancer- and palliative-care, learning to adapt my treatments for a gentler approach for clients affected by life limiting conditions.
I also extended the range of my skillset by learning Reflexology Lymph Drainage, a technique originally researched and specifically designed to help people affected with lymphoedema. This treatment also proves very useful for a wide range of auto-immune conditions as well as any type of fluid retention. I have also been certified in HEARTS process (Hands-on, Empathy, Aromas, Relaxation, Textures, Sound), a technique devised to help patients in hospices and supportive care settings to achieve a state of relaxation and calm quickly and easily. Through my volunteering experience with local charities, I have witnessed firsthand the amazing benefits these treatments can give to both patients and their carers in such trying circumstances.
I am currently in the process of training to offer Reflexology for Menopause and delving deeper into supporting women's health specifically.
If you would like to discuss your specific needs, please feel free to get in touch. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
