As COVID-19 is still happening in clusters across the country and life is returning to a new "normal", I want to reassure my clients that, at Endrick Holistics, I am doing my very best on a daily basis to ensure that everyone who comes is very well looked after and safe.⠀ In order to reduce the risk of spreading the Coronavirus within the community, I am committed to following guidelines and advice set out by W.H.O, the Association of Reflexologists, the government and local authorities, ensuring that any changes to such guidelines are implemented immediately within my business. * Hygiene continues to be of the upmost importance, frequently touched surfaces are cleaned and sanitised between each clients - phones, door handles, doorbell, equipment (mostly covered in wipeable plastic), banister etc. The therapy room itself is taking a more minimalist look as all non-essential touches have been removed. * As always all linen is changed between clients and washed at high temperature daily, * Bins are emptied between each clients. * Extra time will also be allowed between appointments to allow for extra cleaning and for the room to be aired for at least 15 minutes between each clients. This may require the need to come well wrapped up with the winter months almost upon us. * A hand sanitiser in a pump dispenser will be available on entering the premises so you can ensure you have clean hands and it is still highly recommended that the toilet should only be used as an emergency. I appreciate everyone is washing their hands a lot but I need to be extra safe for close contact treatments.
* The new procedures on your part will involve : - bringing your own face covering, still a requirement for all close contact services in Scotland (I will also wear a face covering and other PPE as appropriate and will add a visor for all contacts close to the high risk zone), - face reflexology is still unavailable for the time being - wearing socks (no bare feet) to access the therapy room and - bringing your own water bottle (left in your car) so you can stay hydrated after your treatment. - If you arrive early, please remain in your car until the time of your appointment. Leaving all your belongings (ideally kept to a minimum) safely out of sight in your car would also be much appreciated. - Contactless or online payments would be preferred but exact amount in cash in a sealed envelope so I can leave it for a few days in a secure place will be fine. - currently it is advised that you do not book your appointment in the 10 days following a Covid-19 vaccination/booster or being on a flight due to risks of clotting and/or deep vein thrombosis. - Additional specific Covid-19 risk assessments forms will be sent by email the day before each appointment to minimise the use of paper (and exposure) and feedback from the treatments will also be received through calls, messages or emails - this to ensure you get the most of your treatment time which will have a maximum time of 60 minutes. Post-treatment recommendations and suggestions will also be done by message, email or phone calls. Your Covid-19 form will require your contact details and permission for them to be passed on to NHS track-and -test processes, in the case of a possible infection risk. These forms will be kept securely for the required 28 days, solely for this purpose. Please note, it will not be possible to offer a treatment without said contact details. I will continue to maintain high standards throughout the development of this current situation, ensuring that I have regularly updated procedures in place to support the health and well-being of everyone who visits Endrick Holistics.
* May I politely ask you to also be considerate as you consider your own health and vulnerability as well as those around you. Please let me know if you are not feeling well, have a temperature, a cough, a loss of your sense of smell, an unexplained rash, have visited an area of higher risk or have been in close contact with someone back from an area of higher risk or displaying any symptom, so we can rearrange your appointment. I will do the same. It is better to be safe than sorry and I want to protect clients in a more vulnerable category.
I appreciate your patience during this time. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at email@example.com or 07818112693.
While I appreciate things may become a little more challenging with colds and flu season upon us, your support with respecting our safety guidelines is paramount to keeping everyone safe. This will enable us to resume our therapy treatments and the benefits of such gentle, yet powerful sessions to help promote balance and wellbeing from within. Relaxing, Recharging, Restoring our batteries is so well worth it !
I would like to thank all of my customers for their continued support and for their help in supporting our efforts to keep people on our community safe and healthy. I am also sorry to say that hugs are at this time discouraged within the close contacts servies and this makes me sad as we all know about the amazing restorative powers of human touch but keeping each other safe is more important just now.
Take good care everyone and let's stay safe and healthy together xx
