"We cannot direct the wind but we can adjust the sails"
Reflexology can be used for deep relaxation, reclaiming some precious time and letting all the strains and stresses of modern daily life melt away under the expert hands of your therapist. However, more than a simple " hand or foot rub", it is a safe therapeutic complementary therapy, which aims to promote better physical and mental wellbeing by encouraging the body to heal itself, return to balance, by calming the nervous system and soothing the mind.
A tailored treatment plan, bespoke for each individual, involves specific reflexes mapped on the face, ears, hands or feet to help relieve energetic blockages in the body, which have often built up over time in response to chronic stress or specific conditions. Stimulating those areas allows the corresponding muscles, tissues and organs all over the body to optimise their function with cumulative effects. A very useful therapy for improved circulation, digestion, sleep patterns, immunity, hormonal balance, tension, pain and symptom relief.
Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) is an award-winning reflexology therapeutic treatment which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet or the hands. It is a unique sequence that has been researched and developed by Sally Kay BSc(Hons), whilst working in Cancer Care. RLD is based on stimulating the flow of lymph to help drain any extra fluid retention build up within the body. This technique was part of a clinical research based on helping people affected with secondary lymphoedema linked to the removal or damage of lymph nodes either following surgery, radiotherapy or cancer treatment. This is an incredibly helpful tool as more people are living with this debilitating side effect for which there is currently no cure.
Reflexology for Menopause is a treatment specifically aimed for ladies affected by menopausal symptoms including: hot flushes, night sweats, anxiety, brain fog, fatigue, weight gain, mood swings, poor concentration, memory lapses, headaches, irregular periods with heavy bleeding. Reflexology is a wonderful and soothing therapy to support and aid our journey through perimenopause, menopause and beyond by promoting balance of the endocrine system (made up of all of the body's different hormones) through specific reflexes and sequences to reduce stress (both the cause and aggravating factor for a lot of these debilitating symptoms) by providing relaxation and offering supportive lifestyle advice both holistic and/or allopathic to help you find your zest for life again if you are finding yourself a little lost amidst it all. COMING VERY SOON (September - October 2022)
Reiki stands for "Universal Life Force" and is a soothing technique originated from Japan that induces deep relaxation, stimulates the innate self-healing process of the body as it promoted the flow of Ki (life force energy) while releasing tension, stress, anxiety and bringing a sense of wholeness and balance. It is usually a hands-off therapy done with hands raised above the body. Gentle touch may also be used to restore the balance of energy within the body, unblocking and allowing energy to flow to wherever it is required. As a qualified Usui Holy Fire® III Peace Reiki Master Teacher, a Reiki session can also be given over distance and time zones allowing for more flexibility and convenience.

HEARTS Process (Hands-on, Empathy, Aromas, Relaxation, Textures, Sound) draws on a range of natural skills and sensory experiences which can be used in any combination for people who are anxious, in pain, unable to sleep or recovering from an illness. Hearts always includes physical contact given through fabric of some kind and the client remains fully clothed. It was designed to be used where conventional massage techniques were inappropriate or in any situation where well intentioned touch could be beneficial. It was devised as a bridge to the limitations given by some of the health issues of cancer care or palliative care patients which may rule out the use of some complementary therapies and allows to achieve a state of relaxation and calm as quickly and easily as possible.
